Hi there!
My name’s Dan. Thanks for visiting

The child of two roaming backpackers (and still avid travellers) I was born overseas and moved to Australia at the ripe old age of 3.

I grew up burying my head in books and scribbling away in art classes studying both Graphic Design and Marketing at university.  I promptly kicked off my career as a creative in 2010 and never looked back (...not counting the brief year and a bit backpacking around the world).

In high school I was known as fynch... a small, colourful and social creature that can’t seem to sit still...the nickname sorta just stuck.

Approach to work

With a joint background in Marketing and Design I've been incredibly lucky to have found projects and jobs that combine my love of visual art with my love of problem solving and storytelling.

I'm a firm believer in collaborative creativity and find some of the best ideas seem to come from the most random of places. To this end, like all designers, I’m still learning and honing my craft but I’m enjoying every minute of it!

Little bit extra

Outside of work I still bury my head in books reading through my growing “to read pile” as well as working on my illustration and typography skills in my spare time.

I also tend to pick up a lot of hobbies and have a dabbling interest in animation, photography general tech and fine art.

I’m also an avid gamer, slight coffee snob, cocktail enthusiast, comic nerd and movie buff.
